Operating Partner

Don is an Operating Partnerat Tayeh Capital Group (TCG), where he focuses on new investment opportunities and post-acquisition activities, including origination, diligence, board participation, and execution oversight. He also provides strategic guidance to the firm and its portfolio companies and serves as an Investment Committee observer. Don brings more than 30 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, and law, with deep expertise in middle-market investing and post-acquisition value creation. He holds longstanding professional relationships with TCG leadership developed over more than 20 years working together in the private equity industry.

Previously, Don was a Managing Director and Principal at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., where he managed the firm’s lower middle market private equity fund. Prior to that, he served as a Partner at KCO, a single-family office, leading private investments and post-acquisition initiatives. Earlier in his career, he was a Principal at Investcorp, an investment banker at CSFB, and an attorney at White & Case.

Don was an Echols Scholar and holds a B.A. in English Literature and Finance from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.
